YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
These are our most frequently asked questions about the services LEPAT provides. If you have any additional questions, contact us.
Q. What types of law enforcement agencies can you help?
A. We can help all types of law enforcement: police, sheriffs, troopers, highway patrol, court services, corrections, park wardens, conservation officers, and all federal law enforcement.
Q. What is involved in creating a new, valid, physical ability testing program?
A. Setting up a new physical testing standard, whether for applicants or incumbent officers requires some expertise. To be sure your new standard is valid and will be accepted by the courts if challenged, certain criteria must be met prior during the initial stages of test development. A research component is essential and must contain content, criterion, and construct validity components.
Thanks for your great help on training for the SOPAT. I only trained one time with you, and had from that Saturday till Wednesday to be prepared for the SOPAT. Your training was invaluable. I was able to shave 29 seconds off my time. It was great. Thanks for everything, I would not have been as prepared - both mentally and physically - without your program and experience as a guide. Thanks again
