YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

These are our most frequently asked questions about the services LEPAT provides. If you have any additional questions, contact us.

Q.  What types of law enforcement agencies can you help?

      A.  We can help all types of law enforcement: police, sheriffs, troopers, highway patrol, court services, corrections, park wardens, conservation officers, and all federal law enforcement.

Q.  What is involved in creating a new, valid, physical ability testing program?

      A.  Setting up a new physical testing standard, whether for applicants or incumbent officers requires some expertise.  To be sure your new standard is valid and will be accepted by the courts if challenged, certain criteria must be met prior during the initial stages of test development.  A research component is essential and must contain content, criterion, and construct validity components.

Testimonials

This was money well spent.  The value of knowing how to do these tests before you do it in front of an actual recruiter is well worth it.  It saved me a lot of embarassment.  I found out I needed more conditioning before doing it for real.  Thanks!
