YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

These are our most frequently asked questions about the services LEPAT provides. If you have any additional questions, contact us.

Q.  What types of law enforcement agencies can you help?

      A.  We can help all types of law enforcement: police, sheriffs, troopers, highway patrol, court services, corrections, park wardens, conservation officers, and all federal law enforcement.

Q.  What is involved in creating a new, valid, physical ability testing program?

      A.  Setting up a new physical testing standard, whether for applicants or incumbent officers requires some expertise.  To be sure your new standard is valid and will be accepted by the courts if challenged, certain criteria must be met prior during the initial stages of test development.  A research component is essential and must contain content, criterion, and construct validity components.

Testimonials

I took the PARE test 3 times before I took the official one.  On my first practice test I failed miserably, and I didn’t know exactly what to do to make sure I didn’t fail my test with RCMP.  After my test you gave me an honest feedback which helped me see where I was at per my physical ability to pass the test.  Your feedback helped me change my workouts and work harder so I didn’t end up failing the PARE.  I passed the PARE and I shaved off 1min 4 sec from my first practice test, in 5 weeks.  I would not have been able to do this without your feedback, tips and advice.  If you are serious about passing your test please do yourself a favour and take the practice test with LEPAT before you go for your official test.  I highly recommend it!  Thanks a lot!
